Powerful Left-handers

World’s Top 10 Most Powerful Left-Handed People

I hope to make this list one day. There are many interesting facts about left-handers in the video below. For example: There are more left-handers with IQs over 140 than there are right-handers, and 4 of the last 5 US Presidents were left-handed. Watch the video for more “lefty” facts!

Tangled up in friendship

“Without friends no one would choose to live.”

~ Aristotle

“To the query, ”What is a friend?” his reply was, ”A single soul dwelling in two bodies.””

~ Aristotle

These brilliant descriptions of friendship aptly depict the intense emotion and spiritual awareness two people can have when they allow themselves to be completely entangled in harmony. Once entangled, there is no thought of status, imperfections, or competition of any sort between each other. As two become one, like vines clinging to a fence, they only seek to keep the intense entanglement alive and nothing else. When separated, there is an empty and hungry feeling that yearns for more entanglement so the two souls, bodies and minds can be properly nourished once again.

The answers to life are found here

“You need to make a commitment, and once you make it, then life will give you some answers.”

~ Les Brown

Answers to life’s difficult questions don’t come easy. You need to make the effort to commit yourself to something or someone before you can begin to understand the mystery that lies within you. Then the answers will be revealed to you.

Starry, starry night

The following quotes all come from one of my favorite painters and philosophers, Vincent van Gogh. In 1998, my mother, her best friend and I were fortunate enough to see a very special art exhibition in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) that showcased most all of his major and minor paintings in one location. It was the first and only time all his works from the Van Gogh family museum in Amsterdam were brought together with all his great paintings in America. It was amazingly fun to see so many of his great works close-up and personal. His character and talent were uniquely awesome and inspiring! I’ll never forget that day as I witnessed some of the greatest works of art by a true innovator.

“The best way to know God is to love many things.”

“If one is master of one thing and understands one thing well, one has at the same time, insight into and understanding of many things.”

“The more I think about it, the more I realize there is nothing more artistic than to love others.”

“Love is something eternal; the aspect may change, but not the essence.”

“Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.”

“Conscience is a man’s compass.”

“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”

~ Vincent van Gogh

What are you a slave to?

“Being busy is good. Being busy making money is better. Being busy with your closest friends is best!”

~ James Filbird

Each day we’re busy living our lives doing things that take up our time. Because we need to make time for anything that needs to be done, we should use our time very wisely. Make enough money in life so you can live happily but never be a slave to it. If you’re a slave to the things that take up most of your time, then you can’t do the very best thing with your time that doesn’t cost any money – being with your friends. Don’t be a slave to the things that take you away from your friendships and family. Memories with friends and family are with you forever and they can’t be bought anywhere, anytime, nor at any price.

My Epitaph

“If I am to die just as I am, let it be in a manner that all humanity will have been proud to have known me.”

~ Eleesha

What great words to be able to say about one’s own life. These are the words I want engraved on my tombstone. My greatest hope is that all the people who closely knew me will say I was a noble, honest, giving, sincere, kind, charitable human being.

What are you creating within yourself?

“The self is not something that one finds. It is something that one creates.”

~ Thomas Szasz (1920-) American Psychiatrist

You are the artist of your life – the one who shapes your personality, attitude, moral judgment, career path, friendships, etc. From birth, you have everything you need to make something of yourself in life, so there is no need to look for it. Start creating your life today into something beautiful.
