“True religion is the life we lead, not the creed we profess.”
~ Louis Nizer (1902-1994) American Lawyer
Religion is many things to many people. It’s what you want it to be no matter what god you believe in. The most important religion is the one that leaves a good impression on others. One that motivates people from any ethnicity to listen to their soul instead of their flesh. If your religion makes you a better person who serves others, is concerned for others, cares for others and desires to make the world a better place, then that is the best religion. As long as you don’t hurt yourself or anyone else, then you are living an honorable life that is moralistic and humane. Go live your life with love and honor, because it’s a gift. Share it with someone today!

To me religion does not matter, like you said, as long as you don’t hurt your self and any one else, and you live with honor, love and peace then all will be good. Many people now days have so much hate and fight over which religion is better or which religion is the right one!! love and respect is what we need to be able to live together in this world.. do check out my poem..

INTEGRITY
Fashion and custom,
belief and law,
come and go;
dissolve and evaporate.
Yet there is always
(however forgetful we become)
always, always,
two of us:
the actor …
and the observer;
and things work best
when we remain eye to eye
and hearken to
the primal
that feeds both heart
and soul;
tiller when we act,
anchor when we stand firm;
father and mother beyond this realm
and I your dutiful child.
A HELPING HAND
Know there is a living presence that will always be there to see you through whatever occurs. You may call it a higher self, an inner teacher, a spirit guide, a guardian angel, a disincarnate bodhisattva … and after all these are simply words. But know this, however; that to obtain the fullness of this assistance you are required to do two things: firstly to listen, and then secondly to do something to help yourself.
I couldn’t agree with you more Ben. Thanks so much for taking the time to write down your wise thoughts on this subject.
