“The things I’ve done in my life have required a lot of years of work before they took off.”
~ Steve Jobs
“I believe in hard work. It keeps the wrinkles out of the mind and spirit.”
~ Helena Rubinstein
Working hard has been my way life for the past 30+ years. It wasn’t my original plan from the beginning, but life often has its own plan that has nothing to do with our own plans. Looking back at the past 30 years and thinking about all the personal pain, crushed dreams, sadness, loss of money, and bittersweet victories I’ve experienced, I can honestly say that all of them have made me what I am today — a more complete man. All of us are a result of all the many things we have experienced in our lives. And according to some, we are exactly where we are supposed to be right at this moment. The one thing that has kept me pushing on when I felt like giving up was the fact that I’ve had an able mind and body. As long as we have the ability to move forward in this world, we should! This is the only way you will ever see the rewards from all your efforts and perseverance. Things take time that are really worth obtaining. So, don’t be afraid to work hard and endure the pains along the way. It’s actually good for you! You just might end up becoming more beautiful intellectually and spiritually from it.

“It is wonderful to be in on the creation of something, see it used, and then walk away and smile at it.”
~ Lady Bird Johnson – American First Lady
As someone who has some inventions on the drawing board and who works closely with inventors of new products, I am always proud of the accomplishment in the finished product. But this is just the beginning of another long and expensive phase of product launch. Positioning of the product in the marketplace is vital to the success of a new product. Getting people to buy your product and keep buying it is something that takes lots of genius, skill, cooperation among companies and some luck. Creating something that makes life easier or safer for people or puts a smile on their face is real accomplishment. Do you have something you have invented or want to invent? I urge you to pursue your dream of creating something that would possibly make you lots of money and make life better for people all over the world.
You can generally place people in four quadrants: Amiable; Expressive; Analytical; and Driver.
If you want to increase your success of building better business and/or personal relationships, then first you need to understand what kind of person you are among the 4 quadrants listed above. I am in between Amiable and Expressive with some Analytical. Since I know what kind of person I am, I know I need to find others who share my personality pattern if I want the best chance at a successful relationship. Two people who get along in a friendly manner are also inclined to work well together too. So, there really aren’t any negative factors with finding people who are more like you since you’re most suitable as best friends and/or doing business together. This is a perfect marriage that can bring forth wonderful benefits. If you want to sharpen the other personality types that you don’t possess, then make some new friends who fit those types and you’ll be on your way to finding: stress, love/hate emotions, fear, passion play, bitterness, self-reflection, etc. Aren’t relationships fun. My advice: Always be on the lookout for someone who is just like you.

“The potential of the average person is like a huge ocean unsailed, a new continent unexplored, a world of possibilities waiting to be released and channeled toward some great good.”
~ Brian Tracy
If you’re an average person, then consider yourself something special. If you start looking at yourself as someone who can do great things in this life, then you are on the right track to actually doing it. Michael Jordan was an average basketball player in high school but became the greatest in the game when he imagined himself being better than average. If you really want to be somebody special in life, then realize your full potential and make a difference for yourself and to others. Do what MJ did and become great. You’ll never regret it.
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”
~ Maria Robinson
Life always gets better if you just let it. If you don’t like your life now, then put an end to it (figuratively) and start a new beginning at working to make it better (literally). Life is what you make it and if you’re not doing what you can to control your own destiny, then life will put you in a place that you don’t want to be in. So, choose your own destiny rather than letting chance decide it for you. Take charge of where you end up in life by starting a new ending.
